Howdy
pards …. The April shoot was a bit wet
….. the rain held off for most of the day, but showed up towards the end. The May shoot,
however, was great. Warm, without being too hot, and the air was dry; perfect
shooting weather. April’s side-match
was
The May meeting was at Curley Johnson’s house; and, boy, does he put out a nice spread !
We went over Club badges, and getting the membership list
out to the members. Keep in mind:
our regular monthly shoot is
Sunday
June 29th , with the set-up on Saturday (as usual).
As always :
if ya got anything to sell, or info to put out to the
Club, the wrangler for our website
(eastendregulators.net) is
New England Pete. Contact Pete and he’ll work with ya.
The
Club has ordered a number of badges and when they come in we’ll put out the
word.
The
plate-rack has been worked on and, from now on, it should reset properly; we’re
also going to calibrate the plate-rack with .32 Mag. COWBOY loads.
Right
along the same lines, if ya got any ideas for scenarios or side-matches,
contact the Town Council.
We’re
also going to purchase a First-Aid pack that’s designed to deal with gunshot
wounds. This just kinda makes sense.
Dates
to keep in mind:
Sept.
13th is our Club picnic –
and you know we always have a great time there – same place as always too.
Dec. 13th ( Saturday) is our Club Christmas
party. This year it’s going to at J.C.’s at the Pine Hills
Country Club, in Manorville.
Well pards that’s about all fer now.
